• Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+: 304 mph:

In 2019, Bugatti beat the top rule car Hennessey Venom F5. Not only this but Chiron Super Sport 300+ also became the first car that has broken the record of 300 mph in one hour track. Furthermore, the final record that has been recorded is 304.773 mph in german (with racing driver  Andy Wallace at the wheel on Volkswagen’s Ehra-Lessien test track).

• Hennessey Venom F5: 301 mph:

Hennessey automakers previously won with its Venom F5 the top spot on the list of high-speed sports cars. Yet, Hennessey recorded a 301 mph record and claimed theoretically that second highest speed.

• SSC Tuatara: 283 mph:

The SSC recorded a speed of 316 miles per hour in its first Test diving in Tawatara in 2021, which was later said to be not the actual speed. Unexpectedly, the SSC’s audience reacts when the recorded video of the Car test (As the car speed was not actually what had been claimed). SSC then admitted that Tuatara’s speed was not 316mph (but there was a doubt). On its official page, the SSC wrote the reason, SSC then claimed that the final recorded record was 300 miles per hour. SSC is still under investigation and continues to be a fast car maker.

• Koenigsegg Agera RS: 278 mph:

Moving into the dept of the Top speed cars, Koenigsegg Agera RS set the speed of 278 mph on 24 Nov 2017 with its customer car driven by a company’s test driver. Yet it is considered in the top 5.
