Arizona sisters helping children in Ukraine through bike fundraiser

FOUNTAIN HILLS, Ariz. — Two younger girls biked in a Valley party all for just one mom who was killed while riding house on her bicycle in Ukraine.

The two women participated in the Ignite Women’s Bicycle Celebration in Fountain Hills Sunday morning. The occasion was open to females and ladies of all ages and talent stages.

So far, 7-year-outdated Carina and 10-12 months-old Ariana have raised about $6,800 for small children in Ukraine.

For the sisters, they felt a link to this mother and family members.

“We had a relationship with her,” Carina mentioned. “She was a fellow biker.”

“She by no means obtained to complete her trip since she was shot, so we are accomplishing this to entire the experience for her,” Ariana additional.

The pair are even now gathering revenue to aid children in Ukraine and even built a poem for them that examine in portion:

Pricey young children of Ukraine, our hearts are aching for you

All would seem missing, all that you realized.

All issues familiar are absent, leaving powering fears.

Your fathers are standing tall, all set to fight
