Classic cars in Beeston Regis for jubilee

Stylish equipment from the annals of motoring heritage purred their way onto a north Norfolk church discipline in one of the opening gatherings of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

All Saints Church in Beeston Regis hosted a classic motor vehicle show on Wednesday afternoon.

Several vehicles from the North Norfolk Common Automobile Club – some with royal connections – ended up component of the demonstrate. Scores of readers wove their way all around the industry, admiring the cars and inquiring thoughts of their entrepreneurs.

Roy Beckley, vice chairman of Beeston Regis Parish Council and vice president of the auto club, mentioned: “This party was a definitely great brick in Beeston Regis’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations, which we shall round off with a beacon lighting on Friday night.

“We’ve been genuinely happy with it all. Ideally we’ve completed plenty of – we really don’t want a 1-way ticket to the tower!”

Beeston Regis is just one of only all around 15 areas in the UK with the suffix ‘regis’ which suggests ‘of the king’ in Latin.
