Investigation into Queensbury e-bike fatality continues | Accident-and-incident

QUEENSBURY — An investigation into Monday’s deadly car or truck-bicycle crash on Quaker Highway in Queensbury continues, state law enforcement reported Tuesday.

The victim of the accident, Kelly J. Burke, 53, of Granville, was functioning an Aostirmotor electrical bicycle south from the Pine View Cemetery entrance when he crossed Quaker Road and was struck by a car or truck, in accordance to a point out police information release.

A preliminary investigation by state police identified that Burke entered the appropriate eastbound lane of Quaker Highway and was struck by a 2013 Chevrolet Impala driven by Bruce Bissonnette, 73, of Fort Edward.
