Man charged after pushing boy off bike, police say

DEEP RIVER, Conn. (WFSB/Grey News) – A Connecticut male is facing costs after receiving into a confrontation and pushing a boy off of his bike.

Condition police reported 48-12 months-old Jameson Chapman assaulted an 11-year-outdated boy whilst the boy was riding his bicycle in Deep River Monday evening.

Point out police went to the victim’s home, where by the boy’s family showed police video of the incident.

The video clip exhibits Chapman screaming at 11-year-aged Daniel, ending with him shoving the boy off his bicycle.

“After viewing just a pair seconds of the video clip I straight away went into flight or struggle and jumped into my car to go search for the dude,” Desiree Dominique, Daniel’s mother, stated.

Dominique believes this incident is a loathe criminal offense and that the movie proves it.

Daniel is biracial. Dominique mentioned her son and a buddy were being biking in city when the gentleman accidentally bumped into them and took his anger out on Daniel.

“Where did you improve up? Did you grow up in Connecticut?” Chapman can be read inquiring Daniel in the movie.

“No,” Daniel explained.

“No, you didn’t. Precisely, so get the f*** out of town,” Chapman reported.

Times later, Daniel was shoved.

As soon as Daniel explained to his mother what transpired, Dominique referred to as law enforcement and confirmed them the video clip.

“Daniel is worried to depart the property. He’s terrified to depart the property,” she explained.

Daniel has some cuts and bruises, but it is the psychological effect Dominique anxieties about, showing WFSB particularly where by it occurred on High Street.

“It’s incredibly frightening, it is very frightening as a mom,” she explained.

Chapman was charged with breach of peace second-degree, chance of injury to a baby and assault 3rd-diploma. He created bail.

He is due in Middletown Superior Court in July.
