Man charged in slaying of Florida couple riding home from Daytona Bike Week

A person was charged Thursday in the fatalities of a Florida pair who were stabbed as they headed dwelling from a bike function.

Jean Robert Macean, 32, was arrested in Orlando and charged with two counts of 1st-degree murder in the Sunday killings of Terry Aultman, 48, and Brenda Aultman, 55, Daytona Beach front Police Main Jakari Youthful informed reporters.

Youthful mentioned Macean was taken into custody at 11 a.m. at his house in Orlando, around an hour south of Daytona Beach.

“The suspect dependable for committing these heinous crimes is in custody in the hopes that every person can now breathe a sigh of aid,” Youthful explained.

Youthful reported that a “significant” amount of surveillance video clip helped investigators detect Macean as the suspect. No motive experienced been discovered and Youthful described the killings as a “random, senseless act of violence that hardly ever should have transpired.”

The Aultman’s experienced been riding their bikes home from a night out at Daytona Bike Week, billed as the “world’s biggest bike event,” when they were being stabbed to loss of life.
