MONROE, La. (KNOE) – Just one neighborhood organization operator claims inadequate street ailments and regular flooding is influencing his company.
“When we bought to speaking to them about adding new solutions listed here, they shy away from this location thanks to the political situation below and the absence of development,” described Ronnie Marsh, President of Pulpmill Expert services on Fontana Street in Monroe.

Marsh says prospective shoppers take their enterprise elsewhere. Ouachita Parish Engineer Kevin Crosby suggests the difficulty is while Fontana is a parish highway, it also falls in the I-20 Financial Advancement District just outside the house Monroe town limits.
